Alex 4th Time Dance Sport Champions

On Saturday 4 May, Dare2Dance’s InterSchool Competition took place at the Feather Market Centre. The competition consisted of Ballroom and Latin sections from Pre-Bronze to Open. Alex had at least one couple in every final of each section and took home multiple medals. This included our Gold level dancers, Keanu Wagner and Tyra van Wyk, being named best Ballroom dancers and in the Open round of the Argentine Tango, Chevonne Parker won a gold medal with her partner ex-Alexan Dieter Schubert. During the event, all schools show support for their dancers in the hope of winning the Spirit Cup. Alex was full of support and won the Spirit. Our biggest achievement of the evening was setting a new record. No school has held the Championship trophy for longer than three years. This year we won for the fourth year in a row. Well done to all participants and dancers!
