The Leader of the IT Crowd

Alexander Road High School is extremely proud of our beloved teacher, Mr Keith Gibson. Last week, Mr Gibson was awarded a Life Time Achievement Award by the Eastern Cape chapter of the Institute of Information Technology Professionals (IITPSA) as IT Teacher of the year. Mr Gibson, who has been teaching at Alex for almost 33 years, received the award in recognition of his contribution to IT and CAT (Computer Applications Technology), both locally and nationally. This is the first time a Lifetime Achievement Award has been bestowed on anyone by the IITPSA. The award was presented by NMU lecturer, Dr Lester Cowley.
