Alexan cricketers giving back

A group of Alexander Road High School's first team girls' cricket players gave up their time on Saturday 18 December to demonstrate cricket skills for children from a number of children's homes. The event, organised by the POPS Foundation and held at Kabega Park Primary School, was attended by 250 children.

POPS ( People Opposing Poverty in Society) is a registered NPO. Their main objective is to alleviate poverty and hunger by providing assistance to communities in and around the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro.

We commend our girls for offering up their time to contribute to this worthy cause.
