Alex host debating Provincials

From 9 - 11 September Alex hosted the debating provincial trials competition. 35 teams from around province attended. Our junior team of Sigqibo Rasimeni, James Jeffries, Amahle Zaka, Lisakhanya Bomvana and Anathi Gqoba performed very well, winning four of five preliminary rounds and breaking through to the semi finals in second place. In the semi finals we lost to Merrifield College and ended fourth in the tournament. We are extremely proud of how our junior debaters have performed this year.
