Alex says farewell to Ms Sainsbury

On Monday 9 February, the Alex staff gathered to bid a fond farewell to a dependable, incredibly efficient and kind-hearted administrator. The afternoon was filled with many giggles, reflections and memories. Ms Jenny Sainsbury joined the Alex staff in 1998 as the 'photocopy lady' and quickly embraced any new challenges into which she was thrown. She thereafter moved into the reception and then fully embraced a new role as a data administrator, a role which Dr Peter Manser created for her after spotting her talent. As Mr Ridgway said, "Her chair will be occupied, but she will never be replaced." We wish her all the best with her new venture. Even though she will no longer be in her office, Ms Sainsbury will always be a member of the Alex Family.
