Alexans excel at Lifesaving Champs
We are proud of our Lifesavers who competed in the SA National Lifesaving Junior Champs, held in Gqeberha from 28 April - 3 May. This is a tough competition, involving multiple events, both in the pool and on the beach. Nathan Brown, Tristan de Klerk, Shethar Reid and Kyrah Mack all represented King's Beach Lifesaving Club and Roberto Sauls represented Summerstrand Lifesaving Club.
Notable achievements in include:- Nathan Brown - 7th in beach flags, 8th in beach sprints, silver in 100m mannikin carry and 3rd u/15 boy in the stillwater competition.
- Roberto Sauls - 8th in beach sprints, silver in rescue tube rescue and gold in taplin relay.
- Kyrah Mack - bronze in obstacle relay, Pool lifesaver relay and Manikin carry relay.
