Class of 2022 says Good-bye

And so a chapter ends. This morning, the 2022 matric class donned their Alex uniform for the final time and marched into the hall to the poignant lyrics “I am who I'm meant to be, this is me, Look out 'cause here I come.” At their Valedictory service the class of 2022 bid farewell to their time at Alex by leaving their ‘footprints’ (in the form of donated school shoes). A particularly moving moment was when the outgoing head girl, Hannah Barth, performed a song she wrote especially for this grade. Farewell matrics, we hope that you meet your future with open hearts, enquiring minds, and kind deeds.
