Hockey 1st Teams Capping Ceremony

Last week, Alex celebrated our 1st boys and girls hockey teams for 2025 at their annual capping ceremony. Players received their playing kits, sponsored by Tavcor Suzuki, as well as practice shirts from OPM Tooling.

Mr Kevin Chree was our guest of honour, boasting a hockey CV including 188 caps for the SA Men's team, including 1x Olympic Games, 2x World Cups and 2x Commonwealth Games. Mr Chree expressed words of inspiration, sharing many lessons of how dedication and perseverance are crucial in achieving success.

Our 1st teams are hard at work in preparation for the season ahead, as well as the tour to East London to take part in the Gregg Beling and Tony Godding festivals.
