Rising Alex Soccer Talent

Two of Alexander Road High School’s rising soccer talents, Caiden Adams and Delray Woods have earned a prestigious call-up to the Nelson Mandela Bay Football Association (NMBFA) U21 Ladies team. The dynamic duo will represent the region in the 2025 Steve Vukile Tshwete Games, a provincial inter-district multi-sport tournament set to take place from 21-23 February 2025.

The tournament is known for displaying top young talent in the Eastern Cape. It features men’s and women’s football, men’s and women’s rugby, goalball and netball. Adams and Woods will don the NMBFA colours as they compete against some of the province’s best in pursuit of victory.

Their selection highlights the strength of Alexander Road’s soccer programme and the dedication of these two players. Both have demonstrated excellent skill and leadership on the field, making them valuable assets to the squad. As they prepare for this exciting opportunity, the entire Alex community stands behind them, eager to see them shine on the provincial stage. Best of luck to Caiden and Delray – well done!
