We say farewell to Mr Barry

Last week, after 26 years of service, the Alex family bid a fond farewell to Mr Brendan Barry. He has shaped the lives of countless Alexans in the Life Sciences department and on the sports field; yet, as he reflected on his journey through education, it was clear that Alex has in turn also had a special impact on his life. Mr Barry will be greatly missed for the way he approached his work with the learners' best interests at heart and how he understood their perspectives. We wish him and his wife all the best, with plenty of rest and new adventures in his retirement.
