Alex's New Principal

Dear Parents, Guardians and Friends of Alex

On behalf of our School Governing Body, I am delighted to inform you that Mr Matthew Ridgway has been appointed as our new principal at Alexander Road High School. He assumed official duties on Monday 01 July. Mr Ridgway served as one of our deputy principals during the past year.

We would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the Eastern Cape Education Department for the administrative support we received. In particular, we would like to thank the District Director Mr E Gorgonzola and our Circuit Manager Ms N Mtulu for their guidance and expert advice.

Mr Ridgway is the fifth principal of our school and we look forward to his expertise and leadership as he guides our school into the next phase of its development.
