Successful Start for Alex Debaters

In the first debates of the year, three Alex teams participated in the Westering Debating Festival. Three of our senior debaters also served as adjudicators at the festival. Each team debated two motions. We won 4 of our 6 debates. Sigqibo Rasimeni, Lisakhanya Bomvu and Amy Saunders were each awarded best speaker in their respective debates. Well done debaters on a good start to what promises to be a successful year.
